The description of Freebike
— What is the difference between a Freebike and an E-Bike rental? —
E-Bikes are electric bikes, which means a ride with an engine with speeds up to 25 km/h. The engine is best for uphill or longer routes. Try it yourself!
Freebikes are similar to regular bikes, because there are no engines. This makes the ride significantly cheaper.
— How to set it up? —
With the mobile app, you can set up a different intensity of the engine support. From the lowest, when the bike rides slowly, to the highest, when the bike makes a dash and you are the first to pass the intersection. The maximum speed at which the engine assists depends on the intensity selected.
— How much will it cost? —
Short trips can be for free. During registration, you choose a tailored tariff for your trip. Note in each city the prices may vary.

— Where will I find the bike? —
It’s where the previous users left it. Turn on the app and see the Map of Bikes. If you are in the city center, one of the bikes surely will be close at hand, but if not just switch on the app to locate the nearest Freebike.
— How do I rent the bike? —
It’s as fast as the bike! Sign up with a credit card, rent a bike and set off within one minute from downloading the app.
You can rent a bike with the app in your phone or via a card.
— How and where can I return the bike? —
You can return the bike using the app in your phone or a card just as when you were renting it.
You only need to press the brake three times. If the bike goes off within 5 seconds, it has been returned successfully. You can check the details at the end of your rental, including its total price in the mobile app.
You can return the bike to one of the Locations you see on the map in the app. The bike can be returned outside of the designated Location as well, at an authorized Zone (green), for an additional fee. This helps keep the bikes in secure locations and our business in line with our values and mission.
— What does the Green/Orange Zone mean on the map? —
This is an authorized location where the bikes can be returned. In Orange for a small fee.
— What does the Red Zone mean on the map? —
The bike can't be returned in the Red Zone. Due to limitations and restrictions by the city or the district, these areas are prohibited and no freestanding bikes are allowed in these areas. If the icon Location is situated in the Red Zone on the map, you can return the bike here.
